Oh, how I love the title of this post. Probably one of the most confusing yet seductive titles I’ve ever come up with. But I’ll do you guyz justice by providing you a brief explanation as you read throughout the whole content of this post. So hopefully, after reading this post, you’ll come to the conclusion of how awkwardly relevant the title is to the message
But before I continue, I would like to stress out how happy I am to finally get rid of that trash I’ve been keeping for more than a week now. As, I’m only new here, the way people dispose of their garbage is far more different and rather odd than the way people at my hometown do it. They don’t really have those garbage containers placed all over the city, like those ones in San Carlos, those jar-looking rubber containers where people could trash-in their garbage at anytime they desire. And so because I was afraid of what these people here would say if I dispose my trash incorrectly, not to mention future unwanted humiliation if ever someone scolds me publicly for that, I decided to observe first, how they rid off those wastes and that’s probably the reason that trash in my room stayed there for more than a week. And believe me, you don’t want to have a smell of it.

But, I’m glad it’s finally out of my nose now!
That was completely off-topic but I decided to include it here as I think that deed(which serves as an achievement for me) deserves a little “break”. I think this needs a little attention and praising so I’m proud to say, “I’m so proud of myself”
Of Short Breaks…
Well, last weekend, our Company Boss decided to bring us (our whole developing team) along to Bohol for their family outing. It was a “short break” for us from our daily busy office lives and a time for relaxing, and forgetting all those things that stress our minds. Events happened so fast due to time constraints. We arrived at Dumaluan Beach Resort at about 4pm Saturday. By that time, the weather wasn’t very promising and the beach looked unappealing… I can tell my mates are a bit disappointed as they have had plans of enjoying the waters but I guess they’ll have to resort to the less-fun-but-more-safe swimming pool. It was a nice night for me since I finally got a sniff of Television as their was one inside our room. And what better show to watch than PBB Teen Edition Plus? Yes, and finally a view of Toni after a long time of feeling slightly uncivilized due to deficiency in entertainment appliances. And by that moment, I was glad I came along.
The next morning, Sunday, we had to get up early coz we’ll be touring around Bohol’s boasted spots and must fit all our time thereafter so we’ll make it to the pier by 5pm. We left by 7:30AM and started driving all the way to the first destination spot: The Chocolate Hills. It was a terrific view, but I don’t really find it as interesting as I thought it would be, I mean, they’re just hills, and I don’t go crazy over lumps of soil being arranged beautifully. Then, we traveled through Man-made Forest (another not-so-special place). Then we took a ride at a water draft where we had our lunch and had a visit at a not-so-native-anymore tribe called “The Ati Tribe“. I was amazed by how their Nipa Homes now have jealousy windows and when it’s time to take pictures of them, they can sure pose better than the tourists(not-so-native-anymore).
After that, we made our selves holy by visiting the famous old Baclayon Church. We even spotted Alvin Patrimonio there, and my mates are grabbing the opportunity to have a picture with him. As for me, I wasn’t really dazzled by the moment so I decided to be the one to take their pictures. But if that was Toni we met there, I’ll be the first one to run by her side and smile my gums out.
Then, we went through other spots like the the place of “Sanduguan“, a visit to the largest python: Prony, and entered the Hinagdanan Cave. I found the name of the cave literal since people made a stairway down to access the inside of the cave… may hagdan na, kaya pala tinawag na “Hinagdanan”, ahihih. And for the second time, na-meet ulit namin si Alvin Patrimonio. But this time, my mates didn’t bother posing beside hime again. Ang bilis kasi nila magsawa… Ahihihi
So all those activities, tours and pictorials all happened before we were drove to the seaport. The only unfair thing is that we didn’t manage to have a peek of a live Tarsier coz of the driver said we got so little time and the place of their habitat is so far away. Disappointing, isn’t it? And to think that was all I came for, just to slip one in my bag while no one is looking so I could bring home a pet.
But anywayz, overall, we had fun during that short break, and you can see some of my photos in my friendster profile
Talking about breaks, I’ll also take another short break away from work to visit my home again this coming Sunday, May 18. But this short break is actually a longer short break than the short break I had in Bohol. Coz I’ll be staying home for 3 days to have fun with friends and family after almost 2 months of being isolated. This should “recharge” me to boost my inspiration at work. And this is the reason why I am so excited and can’t wait to get my hands on those internet cafe keyboards I used to press and pound. My friends are excited too and that “someone else” is looking forward to meet me at the pier… how sweet
Breaking Shortly…
Well, I’ve felt frustrated these past few days, as I think that whenever I’m here, time goes by so annoyingly slow, and while I’m enjoying myself at home, time’s passed faster than grandpa’s bicycle and the next thing I know, I’m back here, working. And tension’s been growing at the workplace too since tasks have been pouring in… Probably the reason why we’re looking for a back-up web designer.
And I’ve been feeling a bit of breaking down a little bit due to some people’s insensitivity. I won’t be mentioning any names coz I’ve been known to make constructive blind items that confuse both the ones I rant to and the ones that are the reasons of my ranting, and sometimes it confuses me as well (Are you confused with this statement? Me too ^_^). But it’s just that, as though they’re taking me for granted, as if I live an easy, relaxed, hotel-accommodated life here – and I’m not!
It “breaks me down” shortly, but being a mood-changing-in-a-snap person that I am, I easily get over these issues without wasting precious youth, I just have to focus on fun and entertaining stuff to get over these feelings. So it doesn’t affect me greatly, nor will last in my mind for a long period of time. If I’ll break, at least it’s short!
I guess that’s all I have to say, all I have to rant, and all I have to relate… I’m so excited about going home! So you guyz go have fun too! Have a break, have a Kitkat ^_~
